Alan has a background in customer service, in the hospitality and HR areas. Alan also studied Computer science at Victoria University. Alan has been a Mortgage Adviser for 5 and half years.
Alan Borthwick, Mortgagemax NZ and FSB4 are fully accredited members of the New Zealand Mortgage Brokers Association (NZMBA). This means we adhere to high standards of service, privacy and competency.
In 2007 Alan won The PLANNZ Specialist Lending award for NZ. In 2008 Alan was nominated for the same award from the NZMBA (results in July).

As well as helping clients with their Mortgages, Alan is a qualified Financial adviser, having completed his Post Grad Diploma in Personal Financial Planning via Waikato University in 2007.
